    From 31st January 2025 we will only be processing bulk orders of up to 20 candles. Due to personal reasons we don't currently have the capacity to do large quantity orders Thank you for considering us for your special day. We have made candles for many special events. We provide a discount on order with 10 or more candles purchased in one order.   • Can I hire the candles
    We currently don't hire out candles. We are currently looking in to introducing a small candle hire service for customers who need candles quickly for small events. eg. Photoshoots, parties, real estate openings
  • Where are you located
    We are located in Melbourne, candles are hand poured at Seaford Beach
  • Do you offer a gift wrapping service
    At this point in time we don't offer gift wrapping service. When posting your order we do our best to ensure it is well presented and will be wrapped in packaging to secure the candle and prevent damage.
  • What payment types are accepted
    All major credit cards are accepted and PayPal
  • Do you have a physical Shop

  • Do you offer a refund
    You are entitled to a refund or exchange for items you purchase from La Jolie Candle Boutique if (a) the candle arriving broken (damaged in transit/post) please send us photo of the damages. (b) If you receive the wrong item (c) Order lost by the postal service - evidence required ​ We have a 14-day return policy, to be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. We only accept exchanges or refunds for damaged items, lost in post items or wrong item. please read our full refund and returns policy
  • My Candle arrived broken
    We are sorry this has happened. Unfortunately sometimes in transit the candles can be damaged if not handled with care. We will do our best to ensure they are packaged so they don't break. Please keep in mind since we use Soy wax, it can take 2 weeks for this wax type to fully harden, when your candle is shipped it will still be soft and there is a chance of breaking. We offer full refund if your candle arrives broken.(ex shipping fees or discounts).
  • How do I purchase a bulk order of candles
    We currently only accept bulk orders of up to 20 candles (from 31st January 2025) a bulk order is considered more than 10+ candles in one order For more than 15 candles we require a 1 month notice period please use the bulk order contact form here bulk orders receive a bulk order discount bulk orders need to be paid in full before we make the candles all candles are made to order

  • How long does it take to ship
    Australia: Standard post 6 to 14 business days Express post: 2-4 business days Other countries: Europe including UK: standard shipping - 20 to 30 business days USA: 10 to 30 days business days Canada: 9 to 15days business days
  • How much is shipping
    Shipping varies depending on Location and weight of your order. calculation of your shipping will be done at checkout
  • Can I pick up my order
    I'm sorry we do not allow pick up of candles. For orders made within a 5k radius of Frankston, VIC we offer a deliver for a fee. All orders will be posted using a trackable postal service.
  • What wax is used
    We use a High quality, sustainable and biodegradable Soy wax. We order from a Local supplier here in sunny Australia, soy wax is plant based and comes from the UK. Benefits of soy wax: Clean burning and doesn't release toxins, which means it's less likely to trigger allergies. 100% Natural plant based soy beans, sourced from the UK Smooth and creamy wax perfect for structural candles Biodegradable
  • Why is there is white marks on my candle
    White marks on candles is totally normal, this is called frosting and is naturally occurring on soy wax. We do our best to avoid frosting but it will occasionally occur. Frosting in no way has any negative effect on the wax.
  • What candle fragrances do you offer
    We have a large range of scents available. Please see our scent guide
  • Do you make custom candles?
    We can only custom make the colour and scent of the candle. Size and shape cannot be changed.
  • Why did my wax discolour
    There are a number of reasons candle wax will discolour The candle age (if the candle is old it may discolour with time) sun exposure (leaving the candle near sun light will cause gradual discolouration If the candle has white bits (this is frosting and is naturally occurring on soy wax) The candle is turning yellow, this is from fragrance oils that cause vanillin discoloration. This is a natural process that occurs when vanillin-containing products are exposed to air and light. Pleases note we do not offer refunds for candle discoloration. Tips :how to prevent candle discoloration. keep away from direct sun (away from windows) Choose vanillin free or unscented candles when not using candles store away from light
  • Candle care and burning instructions
    We recommend our candles be used for Decoration purposes only. If you choose to burn the candle please ensure to follow the Candle care instructions and warning labels. Soy candles take 2 weeks to fully cure and we don't recommend to burn the candles any earlier. We do test burn our candles, however our candles are recommended for décor purpose only. Warning: Burning candles should never be left unattended. Candles should be placed on a heat proof surface before burning. Our Candles are best for décor and gift purposes. However if you choose to burn the candle please ensure to place it on a protected surface as there is no base to this candle. We recommend using a safe container, or base so that the wax pools safely. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid any fading/ discolouration caused by the sun. Ensure to read the candle warning and burning instructions sticker label. Pleas note, sculptural pillar candles will not burn like jar candles. These candles will sometimes tunnel and in some cases will burn quickly due to their odd shape. Refunds are not given in the event of tunnelling, pooling or burning quickly. Candle Care instructions: Avoid Burning for more than 2 to 4 hours at a time. Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each use. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Place candle on a stable surface away from flammable objects before lighting. If you choose to burn the candle ensure to place it on a protected surface as there is no base to this candle. We recommend using a safe container, or base that the wax pools safely. Keep out of reach from pets or children. Do not give candles to children. Keep away from Air conditioning/heating units/vents, fans or open windows.
